Dr. Xie Peng is an Investigator at the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering, Southeast University, and a member of the State Key Laboratory of Digital Medical Engineering. He currently serves as a committee member of the Chromatin Branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology and a member of the Digitalized Medicine and Medical Information Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. Xie has led or participated in multiple research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Jiangsu Basic Research Program.

His research focuses on employing bioinformatics and artificial intelligence approaches to investigate cell fate determination and regulation in developmental biology and neurobiology through multi-modal data integration. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as Nature, Science, Nature Methods, Nature Cell Biology, and PNAS.
