Hongliang He is a Young Chief Professor and doctoral supervisor at Southeast University, and a recipient of national-level youth talent awards. He currently serves as the Associate Dean of the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering at Southeast University. His research focuses on the design of nanomedicines, with long-standing dedication to developing novel precision therapeutic technologies and strategies for vascular diseases such as atherosclerosis and thrombosis through nanotechnology. He has led multiple projects, including a key project under the National Key R&D Program, the National High-Level Youth Talent Program, General and Youth Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Nanjing Overseas Returnee Innovation Project. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 40 research articles in prestigious journals such as Science Advances, ACS Nano, Advanced Science, Biomaterials, Nano Letters, and Journal of Controlled Release. He also holds three invention patents. Dr. He has received a postdoctoral research fellowship from the American Heart Association and was awarded the Young Investigator Travel Award by the same organization. He currently serves as a youth editorial board member for journals including Nano Research, Nano Materials Science, Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and National Science Open.
